2005 Runner of the Year
The 2005 Runner of the Year series of 12 races concluded with the Wauhatchie Trail Run at the Tennessee Wildlife Center in Chattanooga. The competition in several categories was so balanced this year that the final standings were not determined until this final race. But winners did emerge from the pack in the overall, junior, adult, masters and grandmasters divisions and well deserved awards were presented at the annual CCRC banquet in January. Some changes are in the air for ROY 2006 but the goal remains the same - participation and friendly competition through a healthy, exciting activity. Make plans to get involved this year and you will have a great time getting to know others who share a passion for running.
