Haig Mill Run Summer 2007 |

The weekly Saturday morning Haig Mill run is a tradition that has now gone on for years. It is just a morning run among friends beginning at the home of Brad DeLay (me, the webmaster) and running out and back down Haig Mill Road. It's whatever you want it to be. Run fast, run slow or just walk after your latest injury as several of us have done. But mostly it's beginning the Saturday morning with friends. Sometimes there's coffee and doughnuts after and sometimes we're back in our cars heading home. We have had visitors, people traveling through town and see the web site and join us for a run. The distance is up to 6 miles but most of us run 4 to 5.5 miles. The hills can be a challenge but as the pictures show, the country view along Haig Mill Lake is worth it. The pace is anywhere from a walk/jog pace all the way to David Leatherman pace....he runs as slow or fast as the fastest runner. If you are interested then email (Brad DeLay) and I will add you to the list. I send out a weekly email reminding everyone of the time.
These pictures are meant to inspire others to come out and join us. Go to the Weekly Runs
