Carpet Capital Running Club
The Dalton Track Club was formed in 1982 by a group of local runners who wanted a name to go on their shirts at local races. The name was soon changed to the Carpet Capital Running Club and the membership grew to include recreational as well as competitive runners. Now a member of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), the club not only manages a number of local races but also holds social events that provide activities for the entire family. And by working with local organizations such as Carter Hope Center , Bradley Wellness Center , and Dalton / Whitfield Education Foundations, helps promote awareness of community services. A calendar of club activities is listed below but be sure to check the website for the latest updates.
